01. Complimentary Discovery Call
Every project begins with a brief discovery call so we can get to know you, your home, and what’s not working in your space. During this conversation we’ll discuss your goals, timeline, and overall vision to make sure we’re the right fit to work together.
Next, we schedule an in home consultation where we review your space in person. This allows us to evaluate layout, architectural details, functionality, and begin outlining the overall direction for your project.
02. Concept Development
Using your feedback, inspiration images, and the home’s architecture as our guide, we begin developing the overall design concept.
You’ll receive a custom digital concept board for each space within our scope so we can align on the overall look, materials, and direction before moving into detailed selections.
At this stage we begin preliminary selections for:
• Hard finishes
• Lighting
• Wall treatments
• Furnishings
• Fabrics and materials
• Decorative elements
03. Design and Selection
Once the concept is approved, we refine the design and finalize selections for your project.
This phase includes sourcing furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes that align with the approved concept. Clients receive an interactive design presentation that clearly outlines each selection and allows us to review everything together before moving forward.
04. Implementation
With selections approved, we move into ordering, coordination, and installation.
During this phase we manage procurement, track orders, coordinate with contractors and trades when needed, and oversee installation and final styling to ensure every detail comes together as intended.
The final step is completing the space so your home feels cohesive, functional, and beautifully finished.
2. Styling & Furniture Design

Barbara curates furnishings, textiles, lighting, and accessories that reflect your aesthetic while enhancing the overall experience of the space. The result is a layered, collected look that feels both refined and livable.
When the right piece doesn’t exist, custom furniture options are thoughtfully developed—allowing for tailored sizing, materials, and finishes that align seamlessly with the overall design vision.
From concept to final styling, this service transforms a space into something that feels finished, balanced, and distinctly yours.

A Room Refresh focuses on updating your space through layout adjustments, new décor, and thoughtful styling. Barbara helps you make the most of what you already have while introducing key pieces that pull everything together.
The result is a space that feels fresh, cohesive, and more like you—without the time, cost, or disruption of a full redesign.
Ideal for clients who have existing pieces but feel the space lacks cohesion or intention.
Focus: Editing, refining, and upgrading
Includes:
Reworking layout
Keeping some existing pieces
Adding key items (pillows, art, lighting, maybe 1–2 furniture pieces)
Color + styling updates
A Room Refresh focuses on refining what you already have, while Styling & Furnishings creates a fully layered space from the ground up.
